This East York home was reimagined to address a disconnected layout and aging systems, resulting in a more open and cohesive living environment.
The main floor was reconfigured to improve flow from front to back, with the enclosed veranda integrated to bring in natural light and create a stronger connection between spaces.
Hardwood flooring, custom cabinetry, and quartz surfaces were introduced throughout, establishing a consistent foundation across the home. Tile, lighting, and finish selections were carefully incorporated to add depth while maintaining a clean and cohesive feel.

Alongside the redesign, structural and mechanical updates were completed to resolve existing issues and support long-term performance.
Core systems were upgraded, ensuring the home functions seamlessly for everyday living.
“I’d give Golden Bee 6 stars if I could. Throughout the project Golden Bee’s communication, professionalism and attention to detail made things smooth and stress-free. From my first few meetings with Jack and the team I was confident that Golden Bee would do high quality work, and they did. It is a joy to cook in this kitchen. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Golden Bee for any renovation project and will return to them for any future projects.”
